I've tried so many things (Ithink just about everything out there) but the best thing I've found so far to use is called Folex. It's in a white bottle w/ purple lettering. I found it at walmart over by the rug cleaners. It's in a spray bottle. I usually spray the spot and then I use it in the steam cleaner. It gets alot of the stain out. I can't say that it get's the smell out (I can't smell the pee and poop) but it's hard to tell with my boys because they try to pee on EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! But this stuff works better than anything else so far.
