I think its just a York trait. Desi does the same thing, yet she is not shy, she goes with everyone and is very well socialized. But, when I bend down to pick her up she also squats and puts her head down like I'm going to hit her. It use to bother me until I realized its just her way. When she wants me to pick her up she runs up to me squats and lowers her head, thats her sign for me to carry her. She's been that way since we got her at 12 weeks, she is now 9 months. |
