I don't know what USP means - but nordic naturals is pharmaceutical grade and I originally got it through my homeopath who is on the American Holistic Veterinary Association's board and he was a past president. He is EXTREMELY picky about what he recommends and he doesn't sell any of this, so he isn't making $$ off it.
