I am so sorry to read about your terrible tragedy. I know what you're going thru because my Dior had passed away because another dog attacked him too.... its going to be 2 months tomorrow. I don't know if I can ever get the image out of my mind but I know time does help to ease the intense pain. I allowed myself to cry and mourn since I believe we need an outlet for our broken hearts. You should take all the time you need to heal and the process may take some time... I still break down time to time and I still get this aching pain of wanting to be with my baby. I know prayers had helped me so much and also getting support through friends ( just like YT). The friends I made here really helped me thru the toughest time I ever experienced. YT made me realize that I am not alone... so I want you to know you have all the support you need to carry you through this very difficult time.
Remember to take your time to heal and YOU will know when the time is right for you to open your heart again to love and develop another meaningful relationship with another furbaby. Don't pressure yourself...... do it on your own pace. I too been told the same but I been praying about it and I know in my heart.... when the time is right, the Lord will show me someway somehow... the only thing i need to do at the moment is to heal.
My prayers are with you and I pray you will be stronger day by day thru God. I am so sure Mr. KoKo is with Dior right now.. playing together with many Yorkies who had passed on to heaven. May you hold on to his beautiful memories and let go of your sorrow.
