I use a disposable pad upstairs/downstairs and a washable one one in her playpen downstairs.....she only soils the disposable pad downstairs in the morning for her #2 and uses the washable ones morning/night in her playpen for #1 ...so I wash those every 3/4 days....the upstairs disposable is JIC of an emergency during the night.....this so far for us has been working well...
