I thought about that too, but when I called the township, and asked about getting a variance, they said that because it's not an unpreventable hardship, that I would get turned down.
I will call an attorney though, since I have lived here 2 1/2 years (and I am wondering how long this ordinance has been in place), and I was under the belief that it would be ok because of my realtor, maybe.
