I'm starting to think I've got the craziest feeding schedule for mine
. Max acts like he's starving ALL the time (that includes IMMEDIATELY after he eats). And I give him (and now Madison too) his canned food in the morning and evening....5 am and 5 pm. At exactly 9:30 in the morning, Max sits his little tush down in front of me and just stares until I notice him~ it's time for his "snack"...which is about 16 pieces of his dry food ...(I measure out 1/3 cup and just portion it out over the day to both dogs) and Madison gets 12 b/c his tummy is a little more sensitive. Then, the same thing at exactly 2 pm.....another snack is expected. They have a regular meal at 5 pm and then at 8 pm, they get another "snack" (Madison gets rice/turkey mixture).
I was afraid I was feeding them (Max in particular) too much, but he hasn't gained any weight and Madison is doing great. I just don't understand how he can be hungry ALL the time! Maybe he's just bored
