I'm a firm believer that they do. One of Mollies puppies as young as they are woke me up the other night whining, whimpering & crying, when I turned the light on he was asleep. I tried to wake him up but he was completely out of it. He finally stopped and sleep peacefully the rest of the night.

I had one yorkie that would act like she was running away from something in her sleep. She would wake up all freaked out, I would have to comfort her like a child to get her to go back to sleep.
