At the age of 9 yrs, I'm not sure anything can help now. For a puppy, I have always recommended reassurance and showing them there is nothing to be scared about. With an older yorkie, I honestly doubt it would work. I say that simply because I have had an older yorkie and I just know how they are. I hope someone can help you, though. Just love her and do the best you can if you can't find any other help. I understand what you are saying when you say you are scared she'll have a heart attack. It's sad to see them so scared.
