My thinking was, they were going to be here for another week for Christmas , which was being celebrated low key, just mom, dad, daughter and brother, all adults. I was more comfortable with them going through their adjustment period HERE, while they were together, 20 min from me vs in another state. During the week long period, they returned with the pups to my home for extended visits 3 times. (Lucky me!) They finally left for their new out of state homes at a little over 11 weeks.

Don't you wish ALL cases could be that easy on you. They were actually the first two pups from my own breedings(s) that I ever placed. It made the good-bye much easier on me, being they were the first kids I let go of. Now the good-byes since...I plead the 5th...
i love happy endings
