Lily May's registered name is My Precious Lily May. When i was a kid i went to a rummage sale with my grandma (way before yard sales ) she bought a baby doll dressed it in a white dress and put it on her bed. she named the doll lily may. we weren't suppose to play with lily may, but i remember holding her. when i was trying to think of what to name lily may i thought of grandma's doll. so i named her after the doll. i have nothing but good memories of my grandma, she used to save little bottles and boxes and give them to me, i thought i had the world's greatest treasures LOL. maybe she felt sorry for me because i had four younger brothers. i tell the boys that mom and dad started out with perfection and went down hill from there. |
