I see many on the list feed their dogs chicken on top of their dog food. I don't know where that notion came from but adding extra protein to a well balanced dog food just doesn't make any sense especially in yorkies who tend to have digestive problems and liver problems. They do not need extra protein unless prescribed by a vet.

I've often wondered that myself. My dogs rarely get anything except their dog food. My sister & my aunt feed theirs off the table as well as dog food, which I definately don't agree with. Just my opinion
