IMO, having two is so much better than having one. And having three is even better than that.....and so on
I thought and debated on getting our second one but after I did it I wouldn't have it any other way. As long as you have the time and commitment towards it, it really isn't any harder, IMO, than having one. My two had six puppies, by accident, so after dealing with that, two are a total breeze
