There are lots of VCA's and I don't know how they are all related to each other. Ours is the closest emergency clinic and I've been there twice. It was a good experience. They charged us maybe 50% more than our vet would have when Sammy had a UTI after her surgery, but it was the weekend at like 10pm so I expected that.
I would always go to my regular vet first because she is awesome, but our VCA is fine for an emergency/after hours. I have talked to people who have had good and bad experiences. I'm sure some of that has to do with the fact that they are an ER clinic and take emergencies first so if it's not an emergency you do have to wait a while. Our VCA also has specialists like oncologists and ophthalmologists. |
