Yup! My girl Mimi is the same way. If someone comes to visit and I'm standing conversating with them she cries so that I pick her up then she puts her head on my shoulder like a baby. She use to do it when I left the house and when I would returned but since I stopped paying attention to her everytime I walk in the house she's stop the whining and wanting to pick up. It hurts that I have to ignore her but she's got to learn that mommy can't pick her up all the time. I tell my husband all the time...I don't think she knows she's a dog. |
