I know, and I appreciate the warning. I'm not saying it's right - obviously that is NOT a well made toy and should never have been sold at all. I was just thinking about how it got to the dollar store. Someone a while back posted about how they bought a dog sweater at the dollar store that had 3 leg holes, or maybe 2 leg holes and a hole for the tail but it was on the wrong side. A lot of that stuff is 'seconds' or imperfect. I would be very cautious buying a toy from there or anywhere that isn't actually taking the time to make sure it's safe or at least well constructed!

If they love tug toys try braided fleece. Mine love tugging with those silly things. Their favorite toy is my sock.
