Once she has had eclampsia, you need to keep the pups off of her. As long as they are nursing, her body automatically works to replenish the milk...thus draining her more of calcium.

With Gracie (had it twice), I would let the pups nurse about once a day and I completely took over feeding them...which meant syringe feeding them every 2 hours including through the night.

I would let mom pee and poop the pups but if your girl has had to have an IV drip, you need to get the pups off.

Also, once they have had it, chances are, they'll have it again so you need to take that into consideration.
