because you love her so much...... they are so dependent on us.. quite a responsibility..
Animals do grieve. I have worked with a lot of animals that had to be rehomed or some just taken care of temporarily..They bounce back quicker when placed in a loving home but they do remember previous owners. Long story short..i had rescued a cocker spaniel and had him for 2 yrs..he was so sweet and I was happy to have given him a loving home..Turned out the pet hospital I worked at had a client that end up telling us about a cocker spaniel he owned that was taken from his backyard..he was crushed..his kids were so upset and he said he had never given up looking for him...he showed us a pic and It was my Basil.. I had to do the right thing and reunite them. Basil, although happy with me was even more joyful when seeing his previous family..I still get emotional..sorry op..I just had to tell this story..good luck
