I really think I am saving money. The washable ones I make can last much longer before you have to change them than the disposable ones. You would probably only have to change the pad once daily with two little dogs. Mine lasts all day or sometimes two days with my three girls using it. I have been using mine for over a year and they are still going strong. I really like the washable ones. Besides that they don't leak and can't be shredded like the paper ones. I got so tired of lifting up the disposable to change it and finding a puddle underneath!
