My little Davey has had 2 boughts of conjunctivitis, the night we got him from the breeder I noticed an eye discharge, she had thought it was from a nasal vaccine. I took him to the vet the next morning and he was placed on gentamycin drops. He had this again with in 2 weeks later and we gave the medication as directed. At this time the vet thought he saw a second row of lower lid eye lashes? If he has another bought of this in the near future they advised he see a specialist to see if he trully has the second row of lashes, they trimmed all the hair away from his eyes.
His sclera looks kind of blood shot often. So far he doesn't have any further eye boogies. I also used very warm water but I used cotton balls to wash each eye a couple times a day.
