I let Lola air dry. She shivers right after I dry her off with the towel, but not for too long. Plus she dries really quickly and it's summer time so I think that helps.
When I first got Lola I took her out every hour even if she didn't have anything to eat or drink, until we went to bed. After about a week I changed that to every two hours. Now I know her pattern is that she needs to go out every three or four hours, depending on what she's consumed. If I wait too long she just whines to let me know it's time. Even if I take hour out at night and she falls asleep I still wake her up to take her out before I go to bed. It makes it easier on both of us because we both get to sleep through the night. |
