I just brought my Lola home from the breeder on Thursday morning. She is 7 months old and a very sweet girl. I am really worried because she has been with me for the past 5 days and has only eaten two times. I am feeding her the same food that the breeder was giving her but she is not interested really. I asked the breeder if I should change the food and she told me I should not and that Lola will eat at her own time. Lola loves to be held but seems to be very sad. She does not want to play (she is still a puppy) so, should I be worried? I am taking her to the vet next week for a pre-spaying consultation. Should I maybe go sooner?

Has anyone else experienced this behavior when bringing their puppies home for the first time? Is this a normal behavior that will go away with time?
