On one of the threads in my file there is alot of great info on this, from personal experience from other dog owners.
I had a dog that tested postive for it once but my other dog did not. I can't remember which one and they never tested positive for it again. Neither of them had diarrhea at the time so go figure, actually recently when my new pup had diarrhea he did not have Giardia, I belive I was lucky for that.
