I won't be able to afford a high adoption fee as there will be vet bills and all the extras in bringing home a new baby (dakota is sweet..but not sure how she would like to share ALL her things ) Being as dakota is a girl, we would prefer a male, so as not to create any territory issues. Thank you for your help!

Hi. If you go to Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. and type in Yorkie and your zip code it will pull up all the Yorkies available in your area. If you don't see one please be patient, sometimes it takes time but the right one will come along. Also, please investigate the rescue you are going to deal with. Just because they claim to be a rescue does not make them reputable. Case and point is a NJ rescue that has numerous pure bred pups for adoption. They are getting their pups from a Mill in Missouri and selling them here as rescue for $750. They are making money. They are no more then a broker. You have MANY reputable rescues but you do get a few that are not reputable and leave a bad name for the good ones. Good Luck. Elaine
