You may have to tube feed him if you want to save him. Technically he is not premature but may have had a bad placement in the uterine horn and just did not grow like the others. There is a great video on you tube on how to tube feed but I would call the vet and see if you can take him in and have them show you how and give you the supplies. I agree that he needs one on one feedings with his mother also. I would tube him in between feedings with his mother. Make sure and weigh him every day to see if he is gaining weight. Make sure he is not chilled when he is feeding as you should never tube feed a chilled puppy. Congrats on the litter. Hope he does wonderful, praying for him. |
