Hello. We are in the process of starting to demo our old garage. The problem is after we took the roof off, we heard all this chirpring going on, (we new their were birds we werent exactly sure where they were). A bird made a nest inside the concrete wall of the garage, problem is the walls are coming down tomorrow. Problem #2 is we are expected to get a big storm and the wall possibly might collapse. I called our local bird rehab place and they said to go ahead and move the nest but try to keep it in the same area and pay attention to see if mom is back feeding them, if not then I have to bring them to the place and they will raise them. The birds had to be just born because they have no hair and their eyes are closed. I have a bird house, but I'm afraid I'm not going to get the nest in there. I just went out and bought alittle wicker basket..my thoughts are to somehow get this nest out and put it in the basket and just move it directy up to the tree from where it is now.

Has anybody had success moving a birds nest? I've tried to talk my dad into holding off a few weeks but it's not happening. We waited 3 years and finally getting it done.
