Default second time going under anesthesia???

okay... i'm about 90% sure that Kash is going to have to be put under anesthesia for a second time to get his baby teeth removed. i'm taking him to the vet today to have his teeth looked at, but i'm almost positive that the vet will tell me they have to be pulled because they just aren't coming out on their own, and it's starting to cause bad breath, and will most likely lead to worse problems.

anyway, he was neutered on May 1, at which time, his adult teeth hadn't started coming in yet, and so, no baby teeth were pulled. now, almost 2 months later, he has two rows of teeth on the top front, and his canines are starting to come in...

i'm so scared to have to put him under AGAIN. i would feel terrible if something bad happened. he's about 3.5 lbs... maybe 4 lbs. i don't have a choice, right? either i have to get the baby teeth pulled by the vet, or risk severe mouth problems later... has anyone had a similar experience? can anyone help ease my nerves?
