They let the dogs use the floor. If your pet walks on that floor and a dog has worms or anything yours can catch it. A pee pad is what I start all my pups on but, be sure to have lots of treats and praise on hand a pup will do any thing for a treat. also invest in a water squirt bottle. If it is doing something you dont want squirt it and say NO. best way to teach a dog i ever saw. Some of mibne now all I got to do is pick the bottle up.
