My mom's Yorkie, Rebel, is 1 year old and he is still black and tan. His head is silver, but his body is super black. Lola and Cujo(my younger twin sisters' Yorkie) are both gold and silver and we started noticing a color change at the roots of the hair at about 4.5 to 5 months of age. Your baby could still change colors, I don't know. I am just sharing my experience with you.
