I talked to the number dog dermatologist in Silver Spring MD..he wrote several books about skin...I was using a heavy coat oil on a few of mine and they had terrible dry skin..he said to avoid oily products..and that cleared it up..BUT, whatever works, works! If oil works for Rosie then I would certainly use it.
It is best to use a good dog shampoo and conditioner..lightly spray water and brush at other times..too many products can cause a problem.
Oil on the ear leather can create a problem called Leather Ear. |
