Yes...here, they can get their learners permit at 14. Then, you have (I think) six months before that expires. In that time, you can take your drivers test and get a "restricted license"...which is pretty much a learners permt, but instead of the paper form, it is a card (like a drivers license). Then, at 16, you can go back and get your actual license. Not everyone gets one so early...but she has been driving for a long time (we live in the country)...so, might as well.

I heard that, here, they were thinking about moving the age limits up too. I would be okay w/ that also (sorry Megan), because here, you can apply for a type of hardship one for those who farm, etc and have to drive.

We homeschooled from 6-8th grade...and she is going back to HS this Fall! She is super excited....I'm...not so much!

I would love to see pictures too! That is GREAT! I love to hear stories of girls like this!
