Sorry for the delay in response but I orginally bought this for Bailey who is a 3 1/2 lber and it fits him fine....I tried it on Maddie who is a tad bit over 5lbs and its fits her great also....so I would say this life jacket would be perfect for a yorkie up to 6 or 7 lbs because it adjusts so well.
