Get a second opinion ASAP!!!
Also, contact your breeder if you got your furbaby from one and ask about it.
My yorkie mix had mild kennel cough when we rescued her and something that really helped was keeping her in the bathroom when anyone showered to "steam" her and open her lungs and loosen mucous. We also gave her some vitamin C and within a few weeks the cough/sneezing had stopped.
Thats a home remedy to try...
