Hello everyone! We, dakota and I have been members for almost a month and it just came to me introduce ourselves! DUH
hehe. My name is Tamara and I am the doting mother of Dakota. Dakota turned 1 in jan. and is a bundle of energy and personality. She loves to play, but more recently has been leaving her toys without stuffing.
hehe, I grew up with a german shepherd and the worst she did to her toys was puncture holes. I never would have thought a little thing like kota could do so much damage so quickly.
She does like playing with coke bottle caps, she will fling them across the room and then bound over to reclaim it.
Up until summer of last year I have been a student. My mother got real sick towards the end of the spring 07 semester, so I took some time off to go home and help take care of her after her surgery. I have been trying to get back into school, but "they" messed up my paperwork, and we are now having to jump through hoops to get everything sorted out.
None the less I have enjoyed the extra time it has given me with dakota. We have completed several training classes, and she has her CGC certification. I am working on getting her therapy dog certification so we can do that. I was wanting to take her to the local children’s hospital.
We joined yorkie talk when kota had her second episode of demodex. I was looking for help with alternate treatments and what not, and everyone on here was wonderful! I had no idea so many people had gone through it. It was comforting to have so much support, so thank you all again for that.
