Once we got her in the house and let her sniff around a little bit and slightly introduced her to our other dogs (Bella my 7 month old yorkie and Bo our 1 yo pug-tzu...yup half pug half shi-tzu! haha) it was about 12:30. We decided to introduce her to her crate. She actually really liked it! We kept the door open and she just laid in there pretty content. She didn't cry once last night! This morning we let her out to potty which she did fairly quickly. After that we gave her a bath. Let me tell ya she sure doesn't like the bathtub very much at all! She was sooo scared! I tried to make it as quick as possible for her so I'm gonna have to give her another one in a day or so to get what little crud is still left on her. After the bath I got her all dried off and she just let my brush her forever. After getting her all cleaned up we really introduced her to our other dogs. She absolutely loves them and they sure do love her back! She is much more comfortable with the dogs than with us but she's warming up. Once she lets us hold her she just clings to us for dear life. She seems to be pretty healthy. I am worried about her bladder though. She's squatting to pee about every minute but only pees a tiny drop. Her urine is neon yellow so I'm thinking she just hasn't had that much water in her system so I'm trying to get her hydrated. Other than that seems to be in pretty good shape. I've never posted on her but I'm going to try to attach pics so bare with me if it doesn't work!
Oh Katie.... thank you for posting her after bath pics. She looks much better! Her coat appears to be fairly shiney. I kinda wonder if she might have a urinary tract or bladder infection. We will see & get it taken care of if so. I cant believe she let you put her in her kennel. When we were doing it... she would SPREAD front & back legs out to keep from going in but i am glad you got her to feel comfortable enough to go in w/out feeling scared. She must feel very comfortable in your home. Thanks for keeping her & posting an update... everyone will want to see more pics & more updates... everyone here is kinda pushy when it comes to seeing pics of babies
