When I was searching for my new baby Rosie, I found A LOT of scam ads--
many on Chron.com (Houston) I replied to an ad, and got what was clearly a response from a Nigerian scam! Kinda startled me really! So then, as I continued looking, I only responded to ads that listed a local phone number, and called directly. Also beefed up by spam filter for my email too, just for protection..
Three things I noticed, one is that there would be multiple ads with similar, if not identical wording, all containing bad grammar (which I have read is a BIG indicator!), the contact email would typically be a person's (alleged) name @
yahoo.com, and the pictures would be r-e-a-l-l-y fuzzy, like they were several generation copies.
I hate these creeps....
