how long have you had linus? MAybe he does not know it is ok to sleep on the bed?
Or it is too hot for him. When I first got Suzi she was too little to jump on my bed, so I did not want her to go on my bed, then hurt herself trying to get down. She slept right next to me on the floor with a pillow for a couple of weeks. THEN she could just up on my bed. And now she sleeps there with me .She gets up with me and not before I do. Sometimes I'll sleep in but she is always right there with me.
I think it is a matter of preference. If Linus is very comfortable sleeping on the couch it seems like he feels like that is his bed.
He will change though, give him time and make sure is knows he can sleep on your bed too
