Thanks to Nancy and Villette and Crystal for explaining what I should've explained more fully when I posted this originally. However, I posted this rather quickly yesterday after spending a very frustrating amount of time moving health/sick threads that were buried in the General Forum. The General Forum, as others have said, can often move incredibly fast - and I'll find a post about a very sick dog on Page 2 or 3 of the General Forum - a dog who never really received enough help becasue it got pushed down the page too quickly.

Also, like Nancy said - there are a lot of people here who really try to focus on Sick/Health -> and your babies will therefore find the BEST possible advice in those areas if they are sick or injured. Those are the first places I go to when I get here - BUT, that is only after I first fish through the General Forum to see what needs to be moved - which can be quite time consuming.

So - that's the "why" behind the request. It's not just because it floats my boat or anything - nope - it's so that all of us can quickly help your dog if he/she is indeed in a dire situation or in a health situation where we can help.
