The personal trainer route has been a good one for me. I have had 17 sessions with the trainer in 6 weeks. I have lost 10 inches, 12 pounds, and gained a lot of muscle. Plus I lost 11% body fat. My body has transformed, and I still have 18 sessions to go.
Of course, I have been watching what I eat, and I am doing my cardio on the off days.
I will add, that I am EATING ALL THE TIME....I am just eating nutrient-dense foods, no junk, no empty calories. Fruit, veggies, lean protein, whole grains. That's it. I am rarely hungry. When I get hunger pangs at work, I have about 10 almonds, and I am good for a few hours.
I feel great. That's the best part.
I'll let you know how it goes after another 6 weeks.
