this is so true !! Try to do the normal things you usually do - he'll come out on his own....
when my husband died my poor girls went thru alot with me and I feel so bad thinking about how scared they must have been with me hysterical, crying and a basket case for months...there's alot I've blocked out ....but I know I put them thru the wringer...
The turnaround was one night ...I must have been crying in my sleep cause I woke myself up and found my Chanel huddled up into a little ball ALL ALONE in the front foyer @ 3am
...It broke my heart seeing her like that ....made me feel horrible for what they must have been feeling and I felt so selfish I couldn't control my emotions - I held her for hours that night..... and Cheri too...then vowed to get myself together for their sake.....
They really do sense our feelings and the best thing you can do for your little guy is try to do normal things....get him to play if you can and try to be just like you were before the breakup. Easy to say - hard to do I know - but it will work if you can do it.
