Bella had her first heat before I had her spayed. I wish she had never had her first heat because my vet says it really decreases her risk of breast cancer if you spay first.
Bella was so little and my vet didnt want to spay her until she was a year old.
Well she had her first heat at 10 months
I was so disapointed.
So now she is a much calmer girl. Still playful but not as spastic
there are panties they can wear. I just noted a few spots of blood on her blanket on her bed. it wasnt that bad.
My friend had a great dane. huge difference. She sprayed the entire wall with blood
it was EVERYWHERE!
