I truly believe Hoover products are very inferior. I bought a brand new vacuum wind tunnel and after 6 months, I put it on the curb and put a free sign on it. I have a Kenmore now and it's a wonderful vacuum, BUT, if I had know how often you have to change that expensive filter, I would not have bought it.
For a carpet cleaner, I'd have to go with Bissel.
