FYI...now I COULD be wrong...but I notice that the OP is in Canada. CKC can mean CANADIAN Kennel Club or CONTINENTAL Kennel Club.
CANADIAN KC has strict standards just like AKC.
CONTINENTAL is the not-so-good-one.
