There are not size catagories for yorkies. They are shown in the toy class. The standard for yorkies is 4 - 7 pounds. Over 7 pounds is out of standard.

CKC will accept any animal for registration for a fee and a picture.

Btw, I wouldn't take advice from your extremely decorated, experienced breeder.
