My Myah is just over 6 months old and I can say she is 99% trained. If she does have a accident, it is because I wasn't paying enough attention to her and that is my fault not hers. I give treats and make a major big deal if she goes outside. The neighbors must think I'm crazy sometimes. I still do the same thing with my Bichon who is 4 from time to time.
Consistency is the key. Always do the same thing. She'll get the hang of it. Just give her sometime. Make sure you are cleaning up with a product like Natures Miracle, so that there isn't any lingering odor.
