Oh I'm so sorry! Maybe Dottie hurting her tooth was a blessing in disguise! You got her in to see the vet... if it's not malignant you'll have peace of mind, and if it is then at least you'll be catching it sooner than you would have otherwise! I understand how these animals can come into our lives and change who we are and how we see the world. Dottie is lucky to have a mom as caring as you!
