I'm so glad she is doing better. This is something I read about many years ago, but it stuck in my mind. A customer surrendered a partially paralyzed dog to a vet. The vet lived in the country where there was plenty of room for the dog. The vet used water therapy - I don't recall if it was like a hot tub or a whirlpool - as well as massage therapy.
Anyway, I started massaging my Muffin from head to toe after I read that, even though there wasn't anything wrong with her. She loved it. The massage therapy is supposed to be great for those old bones and muscles! You might give it a try.
