If you go to your User CP and click the "Edit Options" link, or click below:

Go down to the Thread Display Options box, then in Thread Display Mode, make sure it is set to "Linear - Oldest First", then go to the bottom of the page and click on "Save Changes". The oldest post will then show up at the top of the thread.
