I have the "Alex" and just LOVE it. I did want it a little more sturdy, because Taz is 7.5lbs. I just cut down the board from another standard carrier I have and also used the cushion from it and put it in the "Alex". Taz has plenty of room and so do I for all of my things. I love how it looks like a purse and if he needs to be concealed, no problem.
I was searching and searching for a carrier that looked like a purse and I lucked out on Ebay and only paid $34.00 plus shipping. (The person who sold it didn't know what they had). Obviously, no one else knew who was bidding on it. I almost changed my mind on it too, thinking it wasn't going to be big enough.
