Friend interested in purchasing Yorkie... Hi,
It's been a couple weeks since I posted and joined this group. I haven't had a whole lot of time to visit this site and ask questions so you really haven't seen me since that day.
I am feeling a bit discouraged. When starting my search I contacted a show judge and retired breeder to get some info on Yorkies and suggestions on finding one in my area. He has been helpful and I know that I can email him more questions/concerns but feel that there are so many people that come here that I should ask here first. One of his suggestions on how to go about searching for a reputable breeder was to visit the ytca website and contact breeders through there.
So I sent emails to six different breeders in the WA, OR area. NOT ONE has responded to my email. Mainly I was asking them for help in researching the breed and let them know that I have a friend who is interested in purchasing a Yorkie in the fall for their daughter. What is it that I need to say or ask in order to get a response? Does anyone here know of a breeder who is willing to mentor someone while in their search for a puppy.
Please help!
Thank you,
Shelby
